Find be it further enacted, That the said corporation may receive and take by gift, grant, devise, or otherwise, and hold, possess and enjoy, exclusive Of the building or buildings which may be actually occupied and used for the safe keeping Of their books, papers and records, and Of their cabinets Of natural history, and mineral ogy, and exclusive of their books, papers and cabi nets aforesaid, real and personal estate, the yearly value of which shall not exceed three thousand dollars; provided always, that the estate afore said be appropriated for the purposes aforesaid.
