Spell of a Time (Witches of Brooklyn #4)

Who cares about a birthday when there's a mermaid missing?!

Effie might finally be twelve, but not much has changed . . . until a school trip to Coney Island goes sideways. Every time Effie thinks she has this magic life down, something new pops up. (Or, in this case, disappears!) With the help of Garance, some talkative seagulls, a rather helpful turtle, and time travel (?!) Effie is determined to find this mermaid and enjoy her last year as a preteen while doing it!
