Conan: The Sword of Skelos (Authorized New Adventures of Conan 3, Book 15)

Through the desert of death to the kingdom of Zamboula rode the great Conan and his confederate, the fierce and beauteous Isparana, with the precious cargo - the amulet called the Eye of Erlik whose mighty magic could make a beggar king, and a king emperor. Yet soon they would learn that their reward was not to be the dazzle of riches, but the threat of cruel execution at the hands of the murderous tyrant Akter Khan and his evil mage, Zafra. Not even the barbarous strength of Conan could defeat the deadly sorcery within the most terrible talisman of all - the Sword of Skelos!
