Welcome to the first book of The Whispers of a Lie series.

The first two books of the series were originally known as Part 1: Beneath the Ashes and Part 2: Shadows of the Forsaken. After completing the BETA reads, I decided to take the story in a new direction. The initial duology now forms the foundation of The First Lie, which will consist of two books, beginning with Ashes of Innocence.

About the Story

Ashes of Innocence begins with a whisper.

Catherine Sinclair believes she knows who she is: the dutiful fiancée, the reliable assistant, the woman who never steps out of line. But when she meets Fabian Laurent, a man who carries his past like a crown and his sins like a secret, her world begins to unravel.
