The Roll-Away Pumpkin

A whimsical pumpkin chase that celebrates sharing and the magic of fall!

On a windy autumn day, Marla Little's giant pumpkin breaks loose and goes bouncing down the hill.

"Diddle-dee-doo! Oh, what shall I do?"

Marla's refrain rings out again and again—and little ones chant along every time. The pumpkin rolls down country roads, past haystacks and a milkman's cart, over a stone bridge and into town—and one by one, the whole village falls in behind her. It's a silly procession that turns sillier still when it runs headlong into a marching parade, and it all ends around a steaming cauldron of delicious pumpkin soup.

The Roll-Away Pumpkin is a rhyming autumn picture book and bedtime story for kids ages 2–5—perfect for cozy fall storytimes, classroom read-alouds, and Halloween or Thanksgiving gifts.

From multi-award-winning author Junia Wonders and illustrator Daniela Volpari comes Book 1 of The Roll-Away Series, now in six languages and continued in the winter favorite The Roll-Away Snowman. Ideal for families who love Room on the Broom, The Spooky Wheels on the Bus, and It's Pumpkin Day, Mouse!

Why families love The Roll-Away Pumpkin:
• A lilting refrain repeated all through the book—little ones know it by heart after one read

• The bouncy adventure continues in The Roll-Away Snowman—the perfect winter companion
