Booth Island

It has been nine years since Boothe Treader summered at her family’s island in Canada. Twelve since her brother Roy died off its wild and rocky shores. She has never forgiven him for abandoning her, her parents for divorcing, or the dark-eyed boy who was blamed for his death. When her mother deeds her the island, Boo is drawn back by her memories and by postcards sent supposedly by her dead brother. When all her summer friends gather to welcome her back, she doesn’t know whom to trust, even before the shirt Roy wore the night he died reappears. Her summer boyfriend? Her best friend’s brother? Her two best girlfriends? Or the boy they bullied, wherever he is?
