Blanche Barton’s original version of this book, The Church of Satan, was a slim volume, distilling Satanism’s basic tenets and history to maximize accessibility. That book is long out of print, and much has changed since its 1990 release. This dramatically larger book includes a foreword by High Priest Peter H. Gilmore and reflects the depth and expansion of Satanism itself. Yet it’s still just the tip of the iceberg.
