Bree can’t wait for the endless winter to finally be over. With snow locking the whole countryside in ice, the long-awaited October Horse project has come to a screeching halt.
The racehorses haven’t arrived yet, Nicholas is too busy with university to visit the farm, and Chloe is constantly torn between the barn and home. To top it off everything is frozen and there is endless work to do. Only the hope of finally riding Ace is keeping Bree’s spirits up.

Meanwhile, Angelika has found a rehab project of her own. This time it’s not a horse that needs rescuing but a young singer who needs a second chance and a safe place to land.
