Murder for Profit (Ellie Quicke #22)

Charity begins at home . . . and so does murder!

When Ellie started her own charity, providing affordable housing for students, she never dreamed it would end in the untimely death of a tenant. Under her roof!

The dead student, Brandon, wasn’t one for lectures. But he was the life and soul of every party. Until he wasn’t . . .

On the night of his birthday, Brandon was hosting yet another rowdy soirée — when he went plunging to his death from the balcony.

None of his housemates can say exactly how it happened.

Did Brandon fall — or was he pushed?

The police say it’s just a tragic accident. But Ellie isn’t so sure — especially when poison pen letters start landing on her doormat.

Can Ellie uncover the truth before anyone else pays the ultimate price?
