The Story That Ties Us

Jamie hadn’t felt truly alive in years… but the last wishes of his best friend changed everything.

Coming home to bury his best friend wasn’t how Jamie planned to see her again.

He knew how much he’d hurt her, but back then, isolation had been his only respite from the tragedies that plagued him.
Even now, he struggles to let others get close to him. But as Blake tries to write the story about what happened to their best friend, he must decide whether he can open up and share the truth…for her sake?
She needed him, after all, and his best friend’s last request was for Jamie to stop running and face his past.

Blake’s life was finally hers again after Jamie left her heart in ruins.
Determined to move on from her past, she had a budding career in journalism, a home she bought all on her own, and a new, safe, and predictable boyfriend. But when her boss assigns her to write an obituary for her childhood friend, she must face the man who left her broken and alone.

Will learning Jamie’s secrets help her understand him? Or will he only push her further away and leave her in the wake of his destruction again?
