Pixie Dust and Other Dangerous Things

What if Tinker Bell wasn't the petty, jealous pixie we assumed her to be, but the hidden architect of Neverland itself? And what if Peter Pan's charm and pluckiness was the most dangerous thing on the island?

Tinker Bell is born in Kensington Gardens, London, where she quickly proves herself too destructive for the life of a tinker fairy. When she collides with a willful toddler named Peter, she whisks him away to Neverland - only for a little while, she assures herself. But Tinker Bell, a stranger to the island herself, finds the cost of her defiance greater than she imagined.

Trying to reign in Peter Pan's behavior, Tinker Bell accidentally ignites a war, putting the Darling children and Lost Boys in the crossfire. But can she repair the damage caused by her own desperate steps? And will she ever be forgiven by her own kind? Within this reimagined tale, readers will learn these answers as well as the real story behind Peter's refusal to grow up, the crocodile's ticking stomach, and Tink's fateful sip of Peter's medicine -not to mention countless other cherished details brought to life in fresh, surprising ways.
