Dance Electric (Betas in Waiting #34)

Dex has finally been able to let loose in her own defense, but it almost kills her. Now, she is vulnerable and begins calling on all the friends at her disposal to keep her attacker from finishing the job.

Dex has a quiet job in an industry she loves. She works in a quiet part of the building under a ballet theatre. Her job is sedate and measured, and she has earned a reputation for helping the trickiest of feet find a fit that works for balance and comfort.

When her father arrives in her office and gives her an order, she doesn't even have time to respond before he drives his point home with fists. It was his way of getting her attention. Thankfully, tonight would be the last time she saw him.

After her brother got his pack, her father decided to act publicly again. Now, Dex is free to live her life without having to defend her sibling. He has others to protect him now.

When her father is taken away in cuffs, her new brother-in-law discretely called an ambulance. After surgery, her surgeon has a surprise. Two alphas who have considered her as a partner are looming over her. One is a friend from work, and one is a man who rejected her years ago because she wasn't taller with pale hair. Boy, is he surprised.
