New CEO. Old Game. And she threatens my carefully ordered world.

Manhattan's elite gather for the unveiling of QuantumTech's new leader.A career-defining moment for me, overshadowed by the allure of Iyana Coleman.

Her laughter rings out, a rare note of sincerity in a sea of corporate facades. We share our dreams beneath the stars after she mistakes me for a waiter. And this woman’s beauty is more than skin deep.

The way her eyes light up, and her strength as a single mother, are stark contrasts to my well-ordered existence. Iyana’s an unexpected twist in my calculated life.

But trust is a concept I've long abandoned in a world of strategic plays. She’s breaking through the defenses I've built around my heart. Until the stark reality hits—she's my employee, a boundary I vowed never to cross.

One night, one encounter, and a flame ignites. I find myself craving her presence more than my own success.

A delicate balance of obsession and professionalism now teeters on the edge. Do I dare explore these unfamiliar emotions, or is the risk of falling too great?
