When Death Is Watching (The Severed Fates #2)

Aya Halidan has never trusted the death dates.

Most citizens of Cascadia are thankful to have a life of freedom before they receive their death notice. The announcement comes with an invitation to the Vivarium, a luxurious tower where they receive “peace and comfort” for their final two weeks.

Aya, however, has been skeptical since her parents disappeared into a Pillar—the source of the death dates. Her suspicions grow into an obsessive need for the truth when her little brother Ren receives his untimely death notice.

When her search for answers leads to her death, Aya becomes trapped between realms, gifted with visions of the past and future. Yet the more she tries to prevent the dire future she sees, the further she is torn from Ren.

Desperate to stop death from taking her innocent brother so young, Aya dares to play with Fate—a risk that may fracture her reality for good.
