I’m a coffee loft regular. Give me my latte, clear out from my favorite seat and let me stare out the window at all the people chasing their dreams while I wait for future me to claim hers. It’s a routine, and nothing can disrupt it until Mr. Chaos barges in.

Devon
I hear the cafe whispers; They call me Mr. Chaos, the new barista who’s turned the coffee loft upside down. Broken dishes, mixed-up orders, you name it. But the real chaos? The gorgeous regular who sits in my line of sight every day.I want to know her story, but I can’t ask. Because then she’d ask for mine. And if she finds out my secret, everything I’ve worked for will crumble. All I have to do is keep my distance.
Wait, she’s coming my way for another refill.
Don’t lock eyes with her. Tell your heart to stop pounding so loud. If she gives me that adorable smile again, I’m done.
Look away - look away - too late. I’m toast.
This is going to be a mess.
