Heir of Blood & Fire (Blackblooded #1)

Two thousand years ago, the Blackblood witches and their dragons were wiped from existence. Only one remains.

Serena Avery wants a life like her favorite book characters. One full of adventure, passion, and purpose. She gets more than she bargained for when she is thrust into the world of the fae, accused of being a witch, and held captive by the King of Aegar. Things get even stranger when she discovers that the king is the mirror image of her dead father, the princess is her estranged sister, and the cruel and harsh captain of the guard is her “one that got away.”

Wanted by all five kingdoms, Serena now stands at the center of an ancient prophecy, facing an impossible fate. To survive, she must navigate a court of familiar strangers while battling unseen forces and a forbidden romance.
But the longer she stays in this world, facing the scars of her past, the more she comes to realize that healing doesn’t come without a little blood.
