It Wasn’t Me

Shane was let down, neglected, and abused by everyone in his life. Besides his grandparents, he really had nobody there for him. Whilst serving twelve months in a secure home for a crime he didn’t commit, he suffers yet more abuse.

Shane can't take anymore, and he commits suicide in the police station after his hasty confession; he had killed his mother, half-sister, and her father. But why?

DI Campbell is responsible for investigating the three murders and it's not the simple investigation she expected it to be. What she uncovers is shocking even to her as a seasoned detective. Campbell is determined to get justice for Shane, too. He was a victim before he became a murderer, and some of the people who’d made him suffer,  were powerful and privileged.

Nothing and nobody will prevent Campbell from bringing those men to justice.
