Last-Minute Mate: A Christmas age gap romance (Escape to Haven County)

This Christmas, love is the unexpected gift from Fate hiding at the back of the tree!

Marty
Fated mates? Yeah, right. If that were real, I wouldn’t be in love with a woman I can never have. Honestly, I shouldn’t even be thinking about her — let alone imagining her in my bed. My job is keep her safe, be the guy she can call when she needs help and nothing more. Things like giving her car a tow and making sure she's not alone for Christmas because I don't have the parts in stock. Mind you, spending the holiday with me isn't a huge step up, but it beats the alternative.

But there’s so much I don’t know about Kennedy. And the more I discover, the more I wonder — do I dare accept what she’s offering? Do I have the will power to refuse her even if I know I should?

Kennedy
I can't believe I almost left town without realizing the truth — I was about to walk away from my fated mate! If I'd grown up around shifters, maybe I would've recognized the signs. But now that I know, there’s no denying it. Marty’s been in love with me since I was eighteen, and that revelation shook me. But it also means there's hope, right? Marty may be older, but he's one gorgeous hunk of man. And fate just gave me permission to openly drool!
