Something is bothering Angela as they prepare for a last day in the office before getting to take New Year’s Eve and Day with their kids, enjoying the historic home they’ve just managed to move into after Christmas.
Jackson knows his wife.
Then she receives a text from Adam. A body has been discovered.
While they can’t save the life of the young woman whose remains have been found, Angela is haunted by an old case. One that came to them early in the year, but appeared to have been the case of a young woman rebelling and taking off for an extended European vacation.
Well, Angela can’t get rid of the ‘old’ for the New Year, unless . . .
They head out. And in their search for just what might be going on, they’re going to receive some unexpected help.
And getting rid of the ‘old’ to welcome the new may never feel quite so good again.
