Starting Over (Diamond Creek #1)

Declan

I made a promise. One I spent my entire life keeping. From an early age, protecting my little brother, King, the President of the Silver Shadows MC was my full-time job. Not just from himself, but a past he knew nothing about. So when my brother wanted to go straight and open a new chapter in Diamond Creek, Nebraska, I thought I was in the clear. Should have known that starting over wouldn’t be that easy. It never was when it concerned my brother.

My life was now my own. No more rules and more importantly, no more secrets. For as long as I could remember, I’ve lived my life by everyone else’s wishes. Doing everything that was required of me, my choice was never my own. After the death of my husband, I learn even in death he has a plan for me that takes me across the country to Diamond Creek, Nebraska. What I didn’t plan on was coming face to face with the very past I left behind in my rearview mirror.

Welcome back to the small town of Diamond Creek, Nebraska, where the local sheriff is about to learn that it's hard to keep secrets when the past keeps showing up unannounced. Throw in a temperamental little brother, a long-lost love and an unwanted visit from the Irish Mob, and well… the sheriff is about to learn that no matter how hard he tries, the truth always finds a way.
