House Broken (Search and Rescue Cozy Mysteries #31)

Murder always seems to strike…
at the worst possible time.

Life threw a curve ball at dog trainer and amateur sleuth, Eve, that she never expected. After the loss of her landlord, his widow asked if there’s any way that Eve can move out by Christmas. Since she never signed her new lease, Eve knows she doesn’t have many options and has to act quickly.

She and Aidan are scrambling to find a house because their timeline has been accelerated. It’s a fun, if stressful, experience, right up until they arrive at a listing that they’re supposed to be touring, only to discover that their real estate agent arrived before they did…and was murdered.

The mystery turns even more eerie when Eve learns that the murder hits way too close to home. In the midst of everything, she has no choice but to investigate.

Can she dig up the truth quickly enough so that she won’t be without a house?
