Newly-married Shipra is now missing for more than half a week. Devoted husband Mukund Mridul requests the help of Veera Shivaraman and Abhimanyu Chopra, for he and his family believe Shipra has disappeared of her own volition, tired of the traditional village lifestyle and the haunted corridors of Robert Kothi. They fear that a police case would tarnish her image. But as soon as Veera and Abhimanyu scratch the surface they come to know of two near-fatal ‘accidents’ that Shipra suffered in quick succession, just a day prior to her disappearance. Did someone get third-time lucky? Is Shipra not missing but murdered? If so, where is her body? Is her acerbic mother-in-law to be blamed? Or a brother-in-law who appears not quite all there? Or maybe it is his wife, rather practical and very much there! As the Delhi Detectives grapple for clues, a senior member of Mukund’s family is found dead – and not just dead but reportedly roaming the village in her ghostly avatar. Will Veera be able to solve this one?
