Fake Dates and Home Plates (Way Off Base Series Book 1)

Henley Harkin thought her last year of college would be full of gold medals and good times. Captain of the cross country team, dating the baseball team’s golden boy, and a college degree almost in her grasp. Everything was perfect. Until it wasn’t.

Catching her boyfriend with his pants down wasn’t in the playbook.

Enter Theo Barlowe.

First baseman for the rival school, cute as hell, and the last person her ex would want her tangled up with. Which makes him the perfect revenge.

When Theo suggests they pretend to date, Henley can’t say yes fast enough.

They fake it all. The lingering touches, the heated glances, the toe-curling public kisses.

But what starts as a game of revenge turns reckless fast.

Because he’s not faking at all. He's been waiting in the wings for years, biding his time. And now that Henley’s single? He’s ready to make a play.

While Henley thinks this is just for show, Theo’s out to prove that the chemistry between them is anything but fake... and he won’t stop until she’s his for good.

Previously published in the BABE 2025 Anthology, Henley's full-length story will be available later this year!
