Letters from Shadow Oaks

An act of vandalism at a Florida high school connects three individuals in unforeseen ways.

--Nina, a retired art teacher with no family, moves into Shadow Oaks Senior Home amid fears she has lost a purpose for living. Unexpectedly, she receives a letter that draws her into a challenging situation.

--Megan, a successful businesswoman, wants to be promoted to Vice President of Marketing. A meeting with the high school principal about her rebellious daughter, Penny, is just the first disappointment of the day. Her boss also has bad news for her.

--Penny, a sixteen-year-old who calls herself Poison Pen, has a rocky relationship with her mother and stepfather. After she is caught vandalizing the school mascot statue, she accepts a community service project as punishment. Failure to complete the letter-writing project may result in juvenile detention.
