Tangled Lines (A Tangled Romance Series, #1)

Occasionally, our lives tangle together when we least expect it.
Sometimes it's down to fate... other times, it's a horrendous dating site and a torturous blind date.

Isla MacLeod belongs to the vast Hebridean sea; she's a fisherwoman caught in a net of isolation against the rugged backdrop of Skye.
Working alongside her grandfather, Isla hasn't made time for anyone to quietly slip into her safespace.
Granda's pushing the throttle forward–– and not just on the trawler; he's desperate for Isla to find the one.

Open water’s always felt like home, but the tides are changing; stormy skies are looming.
As waves crash on the coastline, she craves more.

After Morag (the overzealous best friend) sets Isla up on Highland Hearts dating site, there's more chance of finding a cat running a brothel than a decent match... Well, until an uptight, hairy coo enters her inbox.

Meet the coo...

Paisley Campbell's solicitor life in Edinburgh no longer fills her with happiness. She might look good on paper, but it's her internal state that's crumbling.

Bound by rules and deadlines by day, Paisley's become nothing more than a reclusive, wine-drinking, book fiend by night.
Stuck in her ways with a snotty mother breathing down her neck, Paisley's sick of the constant criticism.

Fuelled by sarcasm, anxiety and a disastrous blind date, Paisley decides enough is enough–– It’s time to take charge.
Believing she's in full control of her downward spiral, she sends a message... and a prayer to the dating God's.

Isla and Paisley might be miles apart, but they're floating closer.

The tide's shifting between them, but is it too strong to ignore?

With ample humour, typical Scottish cheek and Scots language — Tangled Lines will keep you hooked.

Follow the entertaining journey of these two late 30's women in this witty slow-burn romance.
Filled with yearning, drama and plenty of tension.
