Deceptive Games (Watch Me Burn #2)

I wasn’t sure what was worse, the blood covering me or the look on Skeeter’s face.
Slash was supposed to keep me safe, he promised, but the man was a snake.
Surely Skeeter could keep me safe from the Bloody Psychos and out of prison.
It wasn’t like murdering one of the Psychos had been my plan.

How did someone get over the fact they’d committed murder?
Keeping it a secret was the only option, but it wasn’t like my breakdown was hidden.
But then Lukas was there for me, making promises I hoped he could keep.
I had to trust those closest to me, there was no other way.

I wasn’t sure which monster to look out for anymore.
The one from my childhood that had tried to destroy me all over again.
The leader of the Bloody Psychos that kept playing mind games with me as we fought the twisted attraction we obviously shared.
It probably should’ve been the Devil’s Armada crew since they’d come to town with me in their sights.

My name's Rory Donovan, and I just slayed one of those monsters.
So it was most likely my karma when the enemy literally came knocking on my door asking for help.
