And she did.

With her plasma dirk to his throat, she gave him something far worse than death—mercy.

Kedar had been hunting her down ever since.

For Xaal, a challenge must end with death, and he’s come to collect.

When he finds her on a hostile ice planet, a deadly blizzard traps them in a cave together. They’re forced to confront their wretched past while fighting horrifying aliens and the impossible cold.

But the twisted emotions they’ve harbored for seven long years are far more dangerous.
