The Storm Next Door

When a convicted sex offender moves into a quiet Minnesota county, Sheriff Darrell Halvorson braces for trouble. But nothing can prepare him for the storm that follows. A tornado rips through a trailer park, and by the time the winds die down, two people are missing: Ray Albee, the ex-con everyone fears, and fourteen-year-old Luciana Rodriguez, the girl next door.

As panic grips the town, Halvorson faces a race against time and the fury of his own community. But in the wreckage, darker secrets begin to surface — ones that force him to question his own ideas of justice, guilt, and redemption.

The Storm Next Door is a heart-pounding rural thriller about what happens when the fury of vengeance collides with the limits of judgement and forgiveness.
