Haunting Celeste (Haunting Love Series Book 1)

Oliver Kingston, an English pianist, falls hopelessly in love with Celeste, a Black saxophonist, during the era of segregation, when interracial love could cost them their lives.

But their forbidden romance attracts the attention of Circe, a merciless goddess who takes the form of a vampiress. With one bite, she strips Oliver of his humanity and condemns him to an eternity as her devoted pet.

A century later, Oliver has become Julien Duval, the immortal master of a haunted mansion on Dumaine Street, forever bound to Celeste's bloodline and the soul he cannot stop loving.

Known as the King of the Avenue, Julien rules a French Quarter where ghosts, vampires, and gods party as though tomorrow is a myth and death is merely another excuse to celebrate.

Through his peculiar arrangement with Circe, Julien has convinced the goddess herself to shapeshift into a cat named Mischief and watch over every reincarnation of his beloved Celeste. Because apparently, nothing says eternal devotion quite like assigning an ancient deity to babysit your repeatedly reincarnated soulmate.

Unfortunately for him, Celeste Duval has absolutely no intention of becoming his wife. He has already taken her mother and grandmother from her, and she refuses to become the next woman sacrificed to his obsession.

If Julien wants her heart, he'll have to survive her wrath first.

Some love stories transcend death. Theirs keeps causing it.
