Strange Accounts from the American Frontier

Strange Accounts from the American Frontier by Travis Weaver is an illustrated collection of eleven “found” journals, each tied to a different place, year, and witness. Spanning 1689 to 1921, these recovered accounts follow soldiers, settlers, pilgrims, laborers, and liars who write down what they saw at the darkest edges of early America.

From war forts and wagon trails to marsh country and mining towns, every story opens a new door into a presence in the timberline, a voice where no one stands, a game that should never be played, and secrets that do not stay buried.
