Sinister Innocence: A DCI Spencer Thriller (A DCI Spencer Novel Book 1)

Monsters are made in the dark, by hands that swear they are innocent.

When DCI Greyson Spencer catches the case of a prominent businessman found brutally murdered in his office, it’s clear this was no random attack. Hours later, a disturbing video surfaces featuring the victim and four other men assaulting a woman, their identities hidden… for now.

Rookie detective Lyra Fellows is thrown into the investigation, her sharp instincts clashing with Greyson’s guarded approach. He doesn’t want her involved in this case, not when it stirs ghosts from his own past, but her relentless determination makes her impossible to ignore. Neither of them can deny the pull between them, even as danger closes in.

When the killer strikes again the pattern becomes chillingly every man in the video is being hunted. As the investigation deepens, Lyra realises she isn’t just chasing a killer, she’s also running from the shadows of her own past.

To stop them, she must face the very demons she’s tried to bury… before they destroy her too.

Because villains aren't born, they're made. And this one has been waiting a long time to begin.
