Firflaert the dragon, an orphan, always enjoyed a flair for the unknown, his curiosity pushing him to explore the magically infused continent he and the rest of the Arasin Kindom call home, where impossible acts of ancient magic suspend the lands in unimaginable ways.

One day, he explores one of the leftover ruins of long ago, supposedly from the first dragons made by the old gods, and comes face to face with one of the oddest things he had ever seen, a beast not of this world, but of a land lost to history and time.

Memories of the Void is the debut novel of the Morkina World, a young adult story about pain, blood, religion, and learning one’s place in the world.
