Vicious Angel

What happens when two thieves rob the same place at the same time?
One of them gets kidnapped, of course.
It’s me. I get kidnapped.

As a woman on the run, my name constantly changes—but the insults are always the same:

Violent. Crazy. Impulsive. And—my favorite—vicious.

I'm not a good person. I'm selfish, I rob from those who deserve it, and I stab anyone who gets in my way.

And the giant in a skull mask just got in my way.

Court McNair catches me stealing from my latest employer, but he isn’t here to stop me—he’s here to take what he thinks is his.

The money…and me.

Kidnapping and random obsession with me aside, there’s something not quite right about this vigilante out for revenge.

Court seems to relish all the parts of me that the world hates the most. He wants to slip past all my sharp edges and shine his light into the darkest corners of my fractured soul. He offers me salvation in a world that’s only ever been hell to me.

He’s ready to burn the world for me, but he’ll be the one getting burned in the end.

Because I’m going to help him get his revenge...

...and then take all his money and run.
