Shattered Pieces (Watch Me Burn #5)

Fairview Prison wasn’t too bad, apart from the fact that everyone hated me.
Getting dragged out of the leader of the Devils’ house labeled you a traitor everywhere, apparently.
I thought the guys would at least understand, but I was dead wrong.
Some of them instantly cut me off, believing I’d betrayed them.

With my relationships in shambles, Hunter and Marco became my connection to the outside world.
They made sure I had everything I needed and worked hard to get me back out.
I’d like to say I didn’t belong in there, but I honestly did.
It wasn’t like I’d accidentally committed murder, that shit had been on purpose.

I never thought I’d be sad to leave that place, but the outside wasn’t exactly welcoming either.
I had to watch my back now that the Bloody Psychos wanted me dead and no one was holding them back.
Especially when Skeeter was the one wanting to pull the trigger.
He had a secret though, one that had me wanting to set his whole world on fire.

My name’s Rory Donovan, and I really thought I’d hit rock bottom.
Guess rock bottom also had a basement.
