Watcher is the fourth book in the Guardians series and takes the tale of Guardians and Seers into the past. In the first trilogy, we meet a young Seer in the modern era who explores the nature of Guardians with the help of her friends. The next trilogy is a darker tale. In a society that is structured around slavery, even a Seer is not safe from involvement with the horrors that humans can inflict on each other. However, despite the perils of such a time, people will always manage to find love.
