2062: A Future Vision

The year is 2062. The "Great Leader" is seeking his fourth term as president. Forty million "retirees" live on the streets of America's cities, surviving on a gummy paste called Sustenance. An endless war in Canada enters its twentieth year with no end in sight, already having cost more lives than any other war in American history. In Greenland, a mine manager quietly sabotages a mine in a patient attempt to fight an unsustainable system. And in New Mexico, vast fields of corn and soybeans are irrigated by water from Canadian lakes. One woman from a tiny town called Mosquero decides to run for president against the Great Leader, and four people decide to join an impossible fight against the dictatorship to elect her: a homeless man in New York, an Army lieutenant in Canada, a mining engineer in Greenland and an irrigation specialist in New Mexico.
