The Withering Wood

Nothing is stronger than the shield around Cerise's heart. Except Oberon's determination.

Cerise and her sister, Eirwen, live in a dying wood, cursed by the bones of a dead God. After a lifetime of neglect, abuses, and manipulations, she's learned it's safer to be alone. All that matters to Cerise now is survival, ensuring the curse doesn't bleed into the small, protected patch of land she calls home.

Cerise's false sense of security fractures when a mysterious stranger comes to her door, needing help tracking a necromancer who wants to revive the dead God. She soon discovers he’s a prince--an accomplice to the tragedies she and Eirwen suffered. But when a black bane seeps into her garden she knows she has no choice but to aid him.

On their quest, she finds the prince is more than he seems. A multi-talented man ablaze with compassion and purpose. Strong as mountains, yet gentle as the breeze. And he seems to have his eye on Cerise.
