A Slice Of Murder (Riverton Cozy Mystery, #1)

Secrets, Slices, and Second Chances—Welcome to Riverton, Where Murder Is Always on the Menu.
Toni Marconi traded ambulance sirens for simmering saucepans when she returned to Riverton to run her family’s beloved pizza shop. But small-town quiet turns to chaos when Mrs. Jenkins—the quirky antique dealer known for her oddball charm and exclusive finds—is found dead under suspicious circumstances.
Toni can’t help poking around, especially after uncovering a hidden compartment in a vintage music box from the prestigious Langford estate—an heirloom Mrs. Jenkins had been oddly obsessed with, and one that seems to carry more than just sentimental value. With her best friend Ellie and Sherlock, her loyal Border Collie, Toni starts peeling back secrets the town thought were long buried.
Could it be the arrogant niece who resented Mrs. Jenkins’ obsession with the family? Or the town historian who always seemed to know a little too much?
As danger creeps closer, Toni must act fast—before she and Ellie become the next chapter in Riverton’s deadly past.
