The Essence of Opals

Ellie Allister is desperate for a fresh start after her future takes a disastrous turn. When she meets the handsome and hard-to-read Colby Opal and befriends Ruby and Quin, his free-spirited sisters, Ellie takes them up on the offer of a lifetime; quit her job and spend the summer with them on their road trip down the East Coast while they spread their parents' ashes.

But as the states pass and Ellie’s feelings for Colby grow, she begins to suspect that there is more to this road trip than any of the Opals are telling her.
