Scott bought the cottage because he couldn't keep living a life that didn't feel like his anymore.

Hidden away beside the lake, it was supposed to be a fresh start, a place far enough from his family's expectations to finally figure out who he is and what he wants. For the first time in his life, Scott has room to breathe. Room to stop pretending.

He doesn't expect Harrison.

What begins as friendship slowly turns into something deeper, built through quiet nights, shared routines, and the kind of connection Scott has spent years convincing himself he could live without. Around Harrison, being seen doesn't feel frightening. It feels safe.

But falling for him means facing the truth Scott has spent most of his life trying to bury.

Coming out could cost him his family, the future they planned for him, and the only version of himself he's ever known.

But staying hidden might cost him Harrison.

And for the first time in his life, Scott isn't sure he can walk away from love.
