Lost Mask (Beast Core Smithing #1)

Kirantha Lost was born into a world where an ancient war ruptured the ley lines, shattered the world tree, and forever changed the world and civilization. Now the only way for people to use magic safely is by refining and absorbing magical cores from monsters. Kira was found as a baby in the snow and raised in an isolated village where she is the only nonhuman. Kira doesn’t know what she is, just that she’s different and barely tolerated. After completing her coming of age trial, her core is found to be deviant, and she is banished. Given only a vague direction to another city, Kira must fight her way through monster-infested wilderness and hope to find a safe haven before winter descends. Can she survive on her own, and what type of reception will she receive should she make it out of the wilderness?

Lost Mask is a Slow-Burn, Slice of Life Progression Fantasy, with elements of crafting, monster hunting, and LGBQT+ relationships. Spice Level is Low. (For Now!)
