To Say Goodbye Again

Jac Winters — retired truck driver, husband, and father — lived for half a century in silence, carrying memories that stayed deep in his bones.

In To Say Goodbye Again, he distills that long road into powerful poetry. What began as private verses in 2017 cracked open decades of fear, confusion, and anger, revealing the brutal work of reconciliation and peace.

A Titan Gold Book Award recipient, this collection stands beside his memoir Shadows, Roads, and Redemption — now fully released and already in the hands of readers across the country. The poetry and the memoir speak to each other, offering two angles on the same long fight toward healing.

Born from the cab of a truck and the endless black ribbon of highway that kept him moving forward, these poems honor resilience, redemption, and the quiet strength found in the life of a working man.

These words are for anyone carrying their own silent burdens.
You are not alone.
