The stars are vanishing, each phase of the moon highlighting an undeniable truth---Lorelia Floratrix, elven princess of Aeldrynor, was going to die.

The darkness devouring the night sky heralded the return of Abadonis, a bloodthirsty god with an insatiable desire to lay waste to the realm. And according to the prophecy that dictated her fate, there was only one individual that could stop him.

Her.

But Abadonis is not the only threat. Chasms with seemingly bottomless depths are forming in the Surface, and when Lorelia is inexplicably drawn to one, she isn’t sure what to expect. She certainly didn’t anticipate falling into its depths and landing directly in a lost kingdom.

The Netherdark is a mystical realm, filled with glowing fungi, glittering crystals, and creatures she couldn’t conjure even in her wildest dreams. But appearances can be deceiving – now the Netherking’s prisoner, Lorelia fears that she may never feel the sun’s warmth again.

Unfortunately, that’s the least of her worries. Something is stirring deep within the abyss, and when it awakens, no one will be safe from its wrath.

With no other options, Lorelia forms an alliance with Malakai Gloomwalker, the Prince of the Netherdark. Together, they discover an ancient prophecy hidden beneath a century of deceit. With each thread pulled, the tapestry of lies unravels, revealing a twisted tale of desire for power and lust for revenge.

Lorelia is forced to make a decision – face her shadows and embrace her destiny or doom the realm to an eternity of darkness. But as the truth comes to light, Lorelia’s feelings for the prince only grow murkier. In a world built on falsehoods, can she truly trust her heart?
