Murder at Buttermilk Cafe (Windmere Cove Cozy Mystery Book 1)

Izzy Harper traded her critic's pen for comfort food and filed the whole mess under Things Butter Can Fix. She didn't plan on her past showing up dead at table three.

A year after a public fall from grace, Buttermilk Cafe is everything she never expected. A sanctuary. A second chance. A coastal town that feels like home.

Then Spencer Reed, the vindictive critic who helped destroy her career, drops dead in her dining room. Izzy's food is on his fork. Her name is in everyone's mouth. She's the obvious suspect.

Clearing her name means digging up the one thing Windmere Cove's most powerful people would rather keep buried. Noodle, her golden retriever, has other ideas. He's already picked up a trail the humans keep missing.

But someone in this town knows Izzy is getting close. And they're not planning to wait quietly while she bakes her way to the truth.
