Would you open a letter addressed to a stranger?

Paris, 1995. Joanna Vickers is drifting through life with her French boyfriend when a letter meant for an unknown American, Brad Wilson, lands in her mailbox. Unable to resist, Joanna opens it.

What she reads hints at murder and dredges up memories she's tried to bury. Driven by a tragedy in her past, Joanna becomes consumed by finding Brad. As her obsession deepens, she finds herself drawn to a man who may know more than he's telling her.

But Brad doesn't want to be found. And by the time Joanna realises why, turning back is no longer an option.
