Almost a Birdbrain Idea (Doreen Diller Humorous Mysteries Book 5)

Dating a cop when your family’s in the mob? That’s the textbook definition of a birdbrain idea.

Just when Doreen Diller thinks her newfound Mafia Family have given up their sketchy ways, she discovers there may be more life—and criminal behavior—left in the old gals yet.

When Doreen uncovers a money-making scheme hidden in Kitty’s greenhouse, it doesn’t bode well for her plan to date handsome Officer Brady—or to become a policewoman herself. Does Doreen allow Kitty’s budding enterprise to fly under the radar, or does she sing like a canary?

It’s not an easy decision when you’re cuckoo for a cute cop.

The flap is on when Doreen tries to clip the wings on the mob gals’ latest fly-by-night enterprise. Can she help them skirt the law in time before they all end up jailbirds? Oddly enough, it may be yet another birdbrain idea that holds the key to their problem, if they can just catch the dirty bird who took flight with it.

If not, the whole Collard Green Cosa Nostra gang could end up totally flocked.
