My nineteen-year-old sister has a brain tumor, and I'd just been handed the price of the treatment that might save her.

I had no one to ask for help, so I walked into a billionaire's office.

One month ago, his mother passed away.

I worked as her housekeeper and she promised me a job at her sons' company.

When I got there, his secretary looked at my shoes and told me I’d have to go begging somewhere else.

She tried to call security, and I turned around to leave.

Then the elevator dinged, and the billionaire stepped out.

He asked what happened without taking his eyes off me, and his secretary said she was just telling me there were no open positions.

He held out his hand for my folder, and read my resume.

Then he handed it back, and turned to his secretary.

"We do now. She’s taking your position."
