Opening my brick-and-mortar apron shop was supposed to be the start of a new chapter. I’d come back to Blueberry Cove to help my grandmother, Anne, rebuild
her life after my grandfather's death, and together we were determined to
make Ruffles & Bows a success. Instead, I fell down the shop basement stairs, knocked over shelves, and discovered a hidden human skull.

It got worse. Grammie Anne took one look at the headscarf buried with the bones and knew exactly who the victim was—a friend who had vanished decades ago. Before we could make sense of that bombshell, our landlord insisted he knew nothing about the remains...and turned up dead himself. Suddenly my sweet grandmother was the prime suspect, our brand-new business was wrapped in police tape, and I was left trying to prove that the woman who taught me to sew wasn't also a killer.
