Hidden Hijinks (Nightsmith Novelties Cozy Mysteries, #16)

Some secrets are worth keeping. Others can be murder.
Bridget Rowan doesn’t expect to get dragged into spying on her elderly neighbor, but life in Mill Creek has taught her to expect the unexpected.

When Kaycee confides that she’s worried about the mysterious man her grandmother, Janet, has been seeing in secret, Bridget reluctantly agrees to help her investigate. She expects to uncover something relatively harmless—maybe a hidden past, a few lies, or even some old-fashioned infidelity.

She definitely doesn’t expect a trail of dead women.

The deeper Bridget and Kaycee dig into Janet’s charming new beau, the more disturbing the pattern becomes. Suspicious deaths. Uncomfortable coincidences. And enough unanswered questions to make them wonder whether Janet has fallen for something far more dangerous than a smooth-talking senior citizen.

There’s just one problem—Janet is hopelessly smitten and refuses to believe the man she loves could be a killer.
With Janet determined to defend her new romance, Bridget and Kaycee have no choice but to keep investigating on their own. But if their suspicions are right, they aren’t merely snooping into a neighbor’s love life.

They’re hunting a potential serial killer.
And if he realizes what they’re doing, Janet may not be the only woman in danger.

A twisty small-town cozy mystery filled with secrets, amateur sleuthing, quirky characters, friendship, family, and plenty of surprises. Perfect for readers who love clean cozy mysteries with humor, heart, and a puzzling whodunit.
