Coven of the Rising Serpent

What if Halloween 1999 wasn’t just the night the world was waiting for Y2K… but the night something ancient came back?

📼 Carlsbad, California. October 1999.

The world is busy with crystal healing, guided meditations, Wiccan rituals, pagers, CD players, and wondering whether the computers will survive the new millennium.

Then a coven’s ceremony goes very, very wrong.

Their horned god manifests in the flesh.

Monsters escape from another realm.

And Jack Nanda tells his girlfriend Tia that he’s actually a shapeshifting dragon from another world.

Naturally, she throws him out.

Because honestly… who wouldn’t? 😏

But when Tia’s son Chris is kidnapped by a shadow demon, the New Age weirdness suddenly becomes terrifyingly real.

Now Tia, Jack, Chris, and their fellow witches must confront ancient forces hiding beneath the familiar world—and discover a kind of magick far older and more dangerous than crystals, meditation, or anything they’ve ever encountered.

🐉 Dragons.
🌙 Witches.
🩸 Monsters.
🔥 Ancient gods.
🐍 Naga and garuda.
📼 And all the glorious weirdness of 1999.

COVEN OF THE RISING SERPENT is a dark urban fantasy for adults packed with action, offbeat humor, romance, and a healthy dose of what-the-hell-is-happening?

So this Halloween, step back into October 1999—when the millennium was ending, the rules of reality were beginning to crack, and the monsters were getting closer.

The ’90s are calling.
